Freezing our soup immediately after cooking means we don’t need to add anything to it to try to extend shelf life. We never use any artificial ingredients, stabilizers, preservatives, or additives. If you can’t find it in your cupboard at home, you won’t find it in our soup.
Freezing our soup also allows us to lock in all the freshness and flavor. From our kitchen to your stove, your soup will taste just as we want it to - great.
Finally, freezing also takes the stress out of the shipping and receiving process. It also means you don’t need to feel compelled to enjoy your soups immediately or throw them out. Each soup will last up to 6 months in the your freezer (not that you’ll be able to wait that long).
Each soup is one pint, which is 16oz. That's typically one large portion, or two appetizer-sized portions.
The current order minimum is 6 pints.

Yes! In fact, we recommend that you place your soups in the freezer, where they will be good for up to 6 months. That way, there's no concern about the soups going bad in your refrigerator if you don't eat them within 5 days. Not that you'll be able to wait that long!

For the planner: Simply move your soup from the freezer to the fridge the night before or morning you plan to eat it. Don’t worry, it’ll be good in the fridge for another 5 days at least. When you are ready to reheat, place soup on the stove on low heat, stirring occasionally until hot. You can also use the microwave for 30 second increments, stirring in-between.
For the rest of us: Soup still frozen solid? Run warm water over the container until sightly thawed, enough to slip the frozen block into a pot. Cover over low heat, stirring occasionally to make sure the soup is not sticking. This can take anywhere from 10-20 minutes.

We take food safety and cross contamination very, very seriously. While nuts are not used in any of our regular soups, there are times that a featured soup may include a nut.
