Good Stock is here again to make your holiday season a little bit easier, and a lot more delicious. We are once again offering three special soups available to preorder and pick up from our shops.

Due to its overwhelming popularity at Thanksgiving, and it’s perfectly suitedness (that’s a word, no?) for celebrations, we are offering our Chestnut Velouté again. But for Christmas, we are taking it up a notch and are offering a black truffle to accompany your soup as garnish. The truffle is approximately one ounce and top between two and four soups, depending how much decadence you are seeking!

For those that celebrate Christmas with seafood, we are making Chef Dave’s Mariscada, a traditional Portuguese seafood stew. It starts with a great fish stock that’s then simmered with roasted tomatoes, onion, garlic, white wine, saffron, and a little chili flake. That’s then poured over a medley of poached seafood, including lobster, shrimp, octopus, snapper, squid, clams, and mussels. 

On the lighter side, we’ve got a Coconut Parsnip Soup. Roasted parsnips simmered with coconut milk, virgin coconut oil, and a little palm sugar. A simple yet deeply flavorful soup, this soup is vegan and gluten free.

Black Truffle $75 for approximately 1oz.
Mariscada $20

A quart of soup is 32oz, which yields five starter portions, or three medium sized portions. But these soups are so good, sometimes they turn into just one portion!
