Gremolata is a delectable Italian condiment made from parsley, lemon, garlic, and olive oil. It’s great on grilled fish and meats, particularly lamb, as well as grilled or roasted vegetables. And of course, it’s excellent as a garnish for soup. This is great on top of our Lentil Soup and Minestrone. We also have customers in our shop that love it on their Roasted Tomato Soup as well.
Gremolata is typically a dry condiment, but we prefer a wetter version so we add extra virgin olive oil. We think that version is better suited for dipping, spreading, and dolloping. Plus the olive oil helps to really diffuse and spread the flavors in the lemon, parsley, and garlic.

Simply stated, there seems to be no evidence that a diet low in sodium improves health. Said another way, salt is not bad for you.
